About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a PORTFOLIO MANAGER/CPIC SME Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Conduct project and portfolio
management activities, supporting PMO leadership and reporting.
Develop, manage, and update project and portfolio management tools,
templates, standards, and Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs).
- Support portfolio risk management and mitigation, identifying
potential risks and providing effective solutions.
- Streamline processes, escalate risks, provide recommendations
and guidance. Ensure project teams have the resources they need to
succeed.
- Support project cost and schedule variance reporting to ensure
alignment with organizational goals and budgets.
- Perform stakeholder engagements, ensuring clear communication
and alignment of objectives.
- Lead or support Data Call planning and facilitation, including
Investment Selection, Cloud Migration, and other related
activities.
- Conduct presentations for executive leadership, providing clear
and concise information on project status, risks, and
recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to support change management
activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adaptation to new
processes.
- Provide analytics for reporting purposes, utilizing data-driven
insights to inform decision-making.
- Conduct process improvement analysis, identifying areas for
optimization and recommending actionable solutions.
- Demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal
communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business
Administration, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's
degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT project and portfolio
management.Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Strong knowledge of Capital Planning and Investment Control
(CPIC) processes and requirements within a government or public
health context.
- Experience in public health or related fields is highly
desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work
collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to
diverse audiences.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
