Position Overview: We are seeking a Tax Staff Accountant who will
work closely with clients to understand their businesses and
support tax compliance, projections, and issue resolution. This
role offers hands-on experience, continuous learning, and
opportunities to build strong client relationships while developing
technical tax expertise. Essential Functions: ? Demonstrate a
commitment to high-quality client service and personal attention. ?
Assist with routine federal and state agency inquiries. ? Maintain
frequent client contact to provide updates and answer general
questions. ? Request necessary information from clients and
supervisors to prepare tax filings. ? Identify potential tax issues
and discuss them with team members. ? Prepare tax projections and
related analysis. ? Prepare tax returns for review and address all
review notes thoroughly. ? Review tax law developments to determine
applicability to clients. ? Draft federal, state, and local
correspondence to tax authorities. ? Participate in internal
training as needed. ? Actively prepare for CPA exam completion.
Position Requirements: ? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
or related field. ? Completion of 150 credit hours for CPA
licensure is highly desirable. ? Understanding of basic accounting
procedures and GAAP. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills with
the ability to multitask. ? Ability to meet deadlines in a
