Job Description Job Description Club J Checkout and Activity Lead Club J Afterschool Program – MJCCA The Club J Afterschool Program at the MJCCA is seeking a reliable, organized, and personable individual to join our team as our Club J Checkout and Activity Lead. This role is a key part of our daily operations, ensuring smooth check-out procedures and effective coordination of the extra curricular activity transportations. Position Overview The Checkout and Activity Lead is responsible for managing the daily checkout table, overseeing activity runs, and delegating responsibilities to program runners. This position requires strong multitasking skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work comfortably with both school-aged children and adults in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily checkout table, ensuring children are safely and efficiently signed out Coordinate and oversee daily activity runs throughout the program and our campus Delegate tasks and provide direction to runners completing activity runs Serve as a point of contact for parents, staff, and program leadership during program hours Troubleshoot and problem-solve day-to-day issues as they arise Maintain accurate records and logs using Excel and other digital tools Support a positive, welcoming, and organized environment for children and families Qualifications & Skills Excellent multitasking and organizational skills Personable, professional, and confident communicator Proactive and dependable with strong problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with school-aged children and adults Ability to stay calm and focused in a busy environment Proficient in Excel and basic computer skills Prior experience in afterschool programs, childcare, or youth programs is a plus Schedule & Details Part-time position- hourly pay Hours: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM Duration: Dekalb County Academic school year Location: MJCCA – Club J Afterschool Program Why Join Club J?
