Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Supervisor at SPM, you will be responsible for: \tConduct all business in accordance with Summerfields policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, and all other Federal and States laws. \tSatisfies service requests per work order; enters at residents convenience, if possible. Cleans up thoroughly. \tMakes regular inspections of the grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment; reports all needed repairs to the Community Director. \tIs available for emergency purposes; familiar with power, water and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants; knows emergency contact numbers. \tAssists in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. \tInstructs staff on proper use and guidelines for wearing safety items. \tAll other duties as assigned Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: \tHigh school education or equivalent. Bi-Lingual Peferred but not required. \tFull-time maintenance experience / Familiarity with electricity, plumbing and carpentry / Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances. \tWork Hours: 40 hours per week with flexible workweek, including weekends. \tCompetence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Summerfield software applications. \tPre-employment drug test and background check required. \tMay need to utilize personal transportation. Must have valid drivers license and automobile insurance.
