Opportunity: Join our Team as a Senior Project Manager where you
will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and
successful delivery of assigned Data Center connectivity projects
ensuring a high degree of Safety and Quality. You will lead and
direct project teams in delivering exceptional results and
providing a best-in-class experience for our clients. The position
proactively develops new business opportunities and relationships
with current and potential future customers. Job Duties and
Responsibilities: Safety is the main fiber of our network. Follow

Values to foster and safeguard Company culture. Establish project
objectives, requirements, performance metrics and planning /
execution procedures in alignment with corporate and business unit
standards – ensure the timely preparation, review and
implementation of project execution plans. Effectively lead and
direct team members in the day-to-day execution and administration
of assigned project(s). Create a project specific schedule of
values that will maintain positive cash flow and prepare / submit
monthly applications for payment and progress billings. Manage
status and timeliness of all submittal packages, RFI logs, Change
Order Request Logs, etc. throughout entire life of assigned
projects. Participates in the RFP processes, completing a detailed
review of plans, specifications, and entirety of bid package.
Reviews contracts, work orders and purchase orders to fully
understand contractual requirements and provisions, and to ensure
scope of work is in alignment with associated estimate and
respective contract documents. Cultivate and maintain customer
relationships to secure and expand business opportunities. Provide
initial client interface to assess scope of work and schedule
necessary to successfully complete projects. Work with the field
operations team to ensure proper materials, equipment and workforce
are available. Manage project scheduling requirements to control
costs and meet contractual requirements. Manage subcontractor and
vendor relationships; streamline project activities for
efficiencies; communicate with staff and upper management to keep
all informed of customer and job requirements. Participates in
project meetings and communicates updates and progress. Works with
Project Engineers, Coordinators and Superintendents in preparing
and submitting RFIs and change order requests. Monitors
installation activities in conjunction with the Superintendent
ensuring productivity is in alignment with the requirements of the
schedule and budget and in place project work conforms with
contract documents. Partners with QA/QC to ensure alignment with
quality plan requirements. Manages job cost and schedules, works
with customer and other craft partner teams for coordination
purposes; communicate with internal resources regarding project
updates, scope changes, and other events impacting the project.
Attends all required meetings and serves as an ambassador for the
company. Coordinate with others on the Project Team to facilitate
the development and timely delivery of correct submittals. Actively
participates in Client / Project interviews for new contracts and
continuing business opportunities as may be required. Provides
technical assistance and support in negotiating contracts and
change orders as may be required. Collaborate with and lead the
team in driving innovative techniques related to value engineering,
prefabrication strategies and technologies. Skills, Abilities and
Competencies: The right candidate for this position will possess
strong leadership qualities, be a highly effective communicator and
willing to roll up their sleeves to help the team when needed. Must
be proficient and well-practiced in leveraging information and data
in making informed decisions. Extensive knowledge of Safety
protocols, processes and procedures. Deep understanding of industry
specific estimating and engineering best practices. Ability to
identify change events and implement change management best
practices. Knowledge of various construction technology platforms,
quality, and safety standards. Solid understanding of construction
accounting principles and cost forecasting. Able to report and read
out project information to all stakeholders as needed or required.
Ability to develop and manage project schedules. Demonstrated
professionalism and ability to interact effectively with all levels
of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients,
and others. Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to
changing requirements with a positive attitude. Strong oral and
written communication and organizational skills, including
excellent customer service skills. Ability to effectively present
to small and large groups. Disciplined, detail oriented, organized,
and self-driven. Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and
establishing priorities. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex
problems, conflicts, and issues. Proficient in using a computer and
business / industry applications - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), Bluebeam, Procore, Textura and
others. Extensive knowledge of industry best practices and
principals related to cost estimating and prefabrication strategies
and methods. Highly experienced at understanding complex and
detailed, design drawings, specifications and other documents with
ability to clearly identify specific scope of work and
requirements. Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a high level
of motivation. Can work as part of a team or independently with
minimal direct guidance. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s
degree in construction management or engineering discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction industry in
management or leadership role. Experience overseeing, managing and
leading complex, large-scale structured cabling projects is
preferred. Extensive experience in data center cabling
infrastructure is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in
managing all contracting and project delivery methods - lump sum /
fixed price, cost plus, GMP, unit price / rate, design-build, time
and material. Preferred professional certifications: OSHA-30 Hour
certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications
must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment. BICSI

Management Professional (PMP) Supervisory Responsibility: This
position may be assigned resources to direct on a
project-by-project basis. Work Location and Travel: Onsite with
willingness to commit to ?25% travel. Note: This job description
