Job Summary
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) II at Cox Automotive, you will
be a pivotal player in managing, supporting, and facilitating
infrastructure operations for developers building software systems.
This role requires a unique blend of software development and IT
operations experience, where you'll work closely with
cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, quality, and
performance of our cloud-hosted applications. The successful SRE
hire must be a self-starter capable of analyzing the infrastructure
needs for the supported team(s), make recommendations, as well as
implement the technical operations needs for the assign team.
Requirements
Previous SRE or DevOps experience required. A strong background in
software development or system administration is essential, coupled
with proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python,
Bash, or TypeScript. Experience with tools and technologies
including Splunk, Terraform, AWS, GitHub, and automation
technologies will be highly beneficial. AWS certifications are
preferred as well as continuous training.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
are vital in this role, as you'll collaborate with various
stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong initiative
is required as you should be capable of working both independently
and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating
strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
Your role as a Site Reliability Engineer II at Cox Automotive
encompasses a range of critical responsibilities aimed at ensuring
the reliability, quality, and performance of our AWS cloud-hosted
applications. You will be expected to:
USD 85 300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00.
The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range
based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and
the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position
may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an
incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as
