The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the
Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of
electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States.
Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and
undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees
were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in
the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News &
World Report.In addition to the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia,

Job Summary
NEETRAC Research Engineer - Entry LevelThe National Electric Energy
Testing, Research and Application Center (NEETRAC) is a
self-supporting, member-focused, not for profit Test, Research &
Application Center that has served the electric utility industry of
North America for over 25 years. The majority of our support is
derived from conducting project work for our Members (38 companies
based in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.). To continue as an impactful,
recognized and respected organization providing Application,
Research and Testing services for our industry, NEETRAC is looking
to recruit flexible, motivated and skilled engineering staff. The
position is for an engineer who will serve as an understudy in the
medium and high voltage testing laboratories at NEETRAC. Over time
this position will serve as a principal investigator for a wide
variety of research and testing projects funded by our members. The
job is physically located at the NEETRAC Laboratory Campus in
Forest Park, GA.
Responsibilities
A successful candidate will undertake a number of Duties and
Responsibilities: Participate in multiple projects in parallel
Display a thorough understanding of electrical principles Partner
with NEETRAC members to develop project proposals from their
technical needs Conduct robust and practical experimental programs
Undertake laboratory and field testing, in a hands-on role, both
individually and as part of a team Recommend project ideas /
improvements to Members Undertake the curation and analysis of
utility performance / measurement data Undertake travel for Field
work, technical interactions with members, as required
