Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced Controlled Environment Vault (CEV) HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Core Responsibilities Perform work on underground Controlled Environment Vaults (CEVs). Service forced-air heating systems, air conditioning units, hydronic heating systems, refrigeration equipment, and complete HVAC systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and all related mechanical and electrical components. Perform preventative maintenance and operational testing on HVAC and electrical systems. Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using appropriate electrical test equipment. Layout, connect, and verify electrical wiring between controls and equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot low-voltage control systems and read/interpret electrical ladder schematics. Demonstrate working knowledge of underground gas monitoring systems (including Sierra 2400, Sierra 2450, and Quest control systems). Maintain basic plumbing systems, including sump pumps. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required) . 2 years of experience of demonstrated competency of HVAC comfort systems, including professional-level diagnostics and service. Possess strong working knowledge of pumps, dry coolers, and cooling towers. Complete all required safety and technical training. Follow all safety practices and quality standards as outlined in company safety manuals and project documentation Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. Candidates should reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. Driving to remote work sites as needed. Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
