Job Description:
CarMax, a leader in the automotive retail industry, is seeking a
skilled Automotive Technician for our overnight shift. This
position offers the unique opportunity to work with one of the
largest and most respected used vehicle retailers in the country,
established in 1993 with over 200 stores nationwide. As an
overnight Automotive Technician, you will be tasked with a range of
maintenance and repair jobs, focusing on delivering high-quality
service to ensure vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.
This role demands a practical, detail-oriented individual who
thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Perform routine
vehicle maintenance and various inspections. Assess vehicles for
necessary repairs, detailing issues clearly and accurately. Manage
a variety of tools and equipment for vehicle diagnostics and
repairs. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures during
repairs. Keep documentation of all work performed on each vehicle.
Collaborate seamlessly with management and team members. Proficient
in a variety of mechanical and diagnostic tools Strong
understanding of automotive systems and components Excellent
problem-solving abilities Effective communication and team
collaboration skills Ability to work efficiently under minimum
supervision Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k ASE certification preferred Valid driver’s
license
