New Gastroenterology Hospitalist Locums Job in Georgia Our client in Georgia is searching for a Gastroenterologist to assist with unrestricted call coverage starting in March/April and ongoing. This is a large health system in Georgia, and a client we've partnered with often.Details/Requirements for Assignment :- Would need to be available for one full week every month or every other month- Privileging process can take 4-5 months - it's lengthy but a great health system- Will have virtual trainings, EPIC EMR training and modules to complete prior to start- Moderate volume- Will likely work an 8-hour day Monday through Friday while taking 24-hour call- Weekends can expect to spend 4 hours on average in the hospital per day- No scheduled cases on the weekends, but will round, consult and operate as needed. - ERCP preferred, EUS not required. Will not see any trauma - willing to accept General Gastroenterology candidates- Coverage is for two hospitals (one hospital is very low volume). The hospitals are 7 minutes away by car.- Will have block time for Endoscopy during the week.
