Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required, WCC/WOCN preferred Must-Have: Experience in wound care, knowledgeable in negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) Description: We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) with experience in wound care. Experience in ostomy and fistula care is a plus. The candidate should be knowledgeable in treating acute, chronic, surgical, and atypical wounds. Familiarity with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) is essential. The wound care nurse will receive support from a wound care technician for patient turns. The nursing staff utilizes an electronic charting system for documentation. The team provides wound care services across various departments in the facility. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The nurse will manage a patient load of 6 to 7 patients per day, depending on acuity. Full compliance is required to ensure a timely start. The candidate should be open to providing care across multiple departments as needed. Flexible scheduling may be necessary to accommodate needs within the facility.
