(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) is needed to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an
elementary student in a leave coverage role at a school in the
Cartersville, GA area. This opportunity involves working full-time
to support a child with specific medical needs in a supportive
educational environment. Location: Elementary School, Cartersville,
GA Contract Duration: February 27, 2026 March 2, 2026 (fixed dates)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1
nursing care to an elementary student with complex medical
requirements Perform J-tube feedings and tube flushing with
precision and care Conduct oral suctioning as necessary for
excessive secretions Monitor and manage seizure protocols,
including the use of a Vagal Nerve Stimulator and magnet therapy
Assist with wheelchair transfers, repositioning, and toileting
(including diapering) Regularly monitor vital signs and respond
promptly to medical needs Collaborate with school staff to maintain
the students safety and comfort throughout the school day
Qualifications and Experience: Active LPN license in good standing
Previous experience providing 1:1 nursing care, preferably within a
school setting Familiarity with pediatric nursing tasks such as
J-tube management, suctioning, seizure care, and mobility
assistance Ability to work effectively within a school environment
and support the medical needs of a child with disabilities This
