A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available to provide essential care within an elementary school setting located in Marietta, GA. This position is a full-time, short-term contract covering a leave from February 27th to March 2nd, 2026. The role is dedicated to one-on-one support for an elementary student with specialized healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to a student with a medical complexity in a school environment Perform J-tube feedings and flushing with accuracy and safety Conduct oral suctioning to manage excessive secretions as needed Monitor and respond to seizure activity, with knowledge of Vagal Nerve Stimulator magnet therapy Assist with wheelchair-dependent care, including toileting, diapering, repositioning, and transfers Record and monitor vital signs to ensure student well-being Qualifications and Experience: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required Previous experience supporting 1:1 caseloads Familiarity with school nursing practices or similar pediatric care settings preferred Competency in handling complex medical procedures, including feeding tubes and seizure management Location: Elementary school setting in Marietta, GA This leave replacement position provides an opportunity to apply nursing skills in an educational environment, delivering compassionate care and promoting the student's daily comfort and safety.
