at Northside today. Responsible for planning, designing and
implementing improvements to Radiology's computerized systems.
Continually improves the operations, stability, and performance of
PACS while minimizing downtime. Serves as technical expert in
resolving radiology systems issues. Provides coaching and training
to radiology systems staff and end-users. Assists in developing
detailed capital plans and provides expertise during vendor
negotiations. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR
CERTIFICATION REQUIRED 1. Bachelor’s degree 2. Five (5) years’
experience with implementing and supporting Radiology Systems 3.
Must have an understanding of Radiology processes and its different
modalities 4. Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict
resolution, and customer service skills 5. Exceptional analytical
and technical troubleshooting skills 6. Proven ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment of constantly shifting
priorities KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION
PREFERRED 1. Experience with networking hardware and applications
2. Five (5) years demonstrated experience implementing and
supporting PACS or other systems in a hospital environment 3. A
minimum of two (2) years of radiology management and project
management experience is preferred.
