Premier Transportation, an industry leader in comprehensive logistical solutions, is seeking a dedicated Southeast Regional Transportation Manager to oversee our transportation operations across the Southeastern United States. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing route planning, maintaining compliance with transportation laws, and enhancing supply chain efficiencies through strategic oversight of our full-service trucking and dedicated fleet operations. Develop and implement strategic transportation routes that optimize cost and efficiency while ensuring timely deliveries across the Southeast region. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws, regulations, and standards. Manage relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Analyze transportation costs and performance data to recommend improvements or changes in logistics strategies. Supervise, train, and evaluate transportation personnel to ensure a competent and competitive team. Collaborate with other regional managers to synchronize logistics operations across multiple regions for overarching supply chain improvements. Respond to any logistical emergencies or shipment issues, implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for negotiating and relationship-building purposes. Advanced problem-solving and organizational skills.
